(Ecofin Agency) - Afrox on Tuesday announced that it has secured a R100-million contract to supply liquid carbon dioxide to Kingsley Beverages’ new carbonated soft drinks plant in Roodepoort, South Africa.

This is coming after the company signed an initial R150-million supply contract in 2013, for the latter’s Malvern and Spring plants.

Afrox has also been granted a R260-million, five-year contract extension to supply liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to a key distributor in Botswana. In addition, the company reserved a R55-million contract to supply the V&A Waterfront with LPG for the next five years, thereby creating opportunities for Afrox to nurture its existing portfolio into development projects at the site, Engineering news reports.
