Despite a challenging environment, foreign investments in Tunisia have reached 1.865 billion dinars (903 million dollars) during the first ten months of 2015, recording an increase of 19.1% compared to the same period of 2014. The information has been released by the foreign investment promotion agency (FIPA).
The agency noted that the flows are spread between foreign direct investments (FDI) that have risen to 1.505 billion dinars (+5.5% compared to the previous year) and portfolio’s investments that have reached 360 million dinars (+157.5%).
Between January 1st and October 31st, the sector of energy has attracted the major part of the FDI with 860 million dinars.
