The Senegalese Customs Department celebrated the International Customs Day in its Dakar headquarters on January, 26, 2016 .
On this occasion, Cotecna has been recognized and honored by the World Customs Organization (WCO ) who awarded a Certificate of Merit for rendering exceptional service to the international Customs community, signed by Mr. Kunio Mikuriya, Secretary General of the WCO.
Mr. Valdiodio Cissé, General Manager of Cotecna Senegal, received the award from Mr. Mangara Birima , Senegal’s Minister for the Budget.
This honor rightly illustrates the exceptional connection between the Senegalese Customs and Cotecna , resulting in a privileged and win-win partnership developed between Cotecna and the Customs administration for over 15 years.
This cooperation is part of a process of modernization, transparency and trade facilitation, and this is thanks to the daily commitment of every employee of Cotecna Senegal that this award was presented to us.
