Ivorian Prime Minister Daniel Kablan Duncan and his team just gave President Alassane Dramane Ouattara their resignation letter. As a response to this, the recently re-elected president just declared he took note of his collaborator’s decision.
After being re-elected, the president promised a better distribution of development which the country got back after the few years of socio-political crisis. It is more likely that many changes will occur at the Ministry of Finances and Economy which was under the Prime Minister. Moreover, the head of state also promised to pursue the reconciliation mission in the country.
Now however, the current team will keep handling ongoing matters while waiting for a new government to be formed. Commenting on the issue, the Ivorian president simply said that his next collaborators would have as main goal, to develop “a better cohesion for more efficiency in governmental action”.
