From March 2023 to January 2024, AGL Côte d'Ivoire carried out the end-to-end logistics of the medical equipment, ordered by the Ivorian Ministry of Health and intended for the hospitals of the cities hosting the CAF TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations, Côte d'Ivoire 2023 matches.

AGL Côte d'Ivoire's operational teams carried out the air transit, storage, delivery and installation of 6 magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) units and their accessory equipment, weighing more than 40 tons. This medical equipment, which makes it possible to obtain high-resolution images, has been successfully delivered to the Regional Hospital Centers (CHR) of the cities of Abidjan, Bouaké, San Pédro, Yamoussoukro and Korhogo, hosting the 2023 AFCON matches.

The air freight forwarding services of AGL Côte d'Ivoire carried out the customs clearance procedures for the MRIs as soon as they arrived at the airport, which were then stored in the contract logistics warehouse (Aerohub), before their transport and installation in the various health centers by the lifting service, in charge of exceptional packages.

As a logistics partner of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), AGL puts its expertise at the service of the health and well-being of football fans and the population in general.

" We are proud to have carried out, with the help of the Ivorian authorities, the logistics of MRIs for hospitals in the cities of the 2023 AFCON. This transaction confirms AGL's positioning as a reliable logistics player, capable of deploying tailor-made solutions for its customers, relying on the density of its international network and the unique expertise of its Ivorian teams. " Said Joël Hounsinou, Managing Director of AGL Côte d'Ivoire.
