Gide advised Société Générale on the signing of various agreements relating to the sale of its subsidiaries in Mauritania, Chad, Equatorial Guinea and Congo.
Subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions precedent (in particular regulatory approvals), the Coris group would purchase Société Générale's stake in Société Générale Mauritanie and Société Générale Tchad, while the Vista group would purchase Société Générale's stake in Société Générale de Banques en Guinée Equatoriale and Société Générale Congo.
