On September 11, 2018, Saterex, the Algerian company specialized in the manufacturing of Iris branded electrical appliances signed a sales agreement with KVS Import Solutions, the American company specialized in online distribution. Via this agreement, Saterex will offer its Iris branded smartphones to American consumers.

Djamel Guidoum (photo), deputy managing director of Iris, explained that this agreement was signed during Semaine de l’Algérie, organized on September 10-13, 2018 in Washington DC. He added that this agreement would highlight the company’s smartphones’ value and help them understand the American market. He also informed that the agreement was reached after four months of negotiation spurred by Saterex’s desire to expand its markets.

Saterex is also planning to build another production plant to increase its output to 2 million smartphones per year.
