Tunisia’s International Arab Bank (BIAT in French) and Banque sahélo-saharienne pour l’investissement et le commerce (BSIC) have signed a partnership agreement to support Tunisian companies in Africa.
“This partnership confirms BIAT’s will to boost exchanges with Africa and support clients that wish to develop across the continent,” said the Tunisian bank in a statement published on May 25.
BIAT and BSIC have also agreed, under the partnership agreement, to work together to encourage investment and development projects in Tunisia and across Africa. This agreement also plans for the exchange of expertise and know-how via trainings and economic forums.
In charge of the financing of development projects in the member-states of the Community of Sahelo-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), BSIC has subsidiaries in 14 countries.
