Cauris Investment Management sees two of its former partners launch their private equity firm

Thursday, 28 January 2016 11:52

Jean-Marc Savi de Tové and Thierry Vissého, two former partners of Cauris Investment Management have launched their own private equity management company, Adiwale Parnters, Ecofin Agency learnt from the company’s incorporation deed which was published on January 20 in the legal notices newspaper, in Cote d’Ivoire.

Both founders of Adiwale Partners have gathered expertise from 15 investments and about 10 outputs in sectors such as telecommunication, distribution, agro-food, pharmaceutical industry, IT services, oil and gas and financial services.

Cauris Investment’s episode is just one in many similar that occurred in Africa’s private equity sector over the past year.

Truly, other important departures took place in 2015. Such is the case of Okechukwu Enelamah who left African Capital Alliance to become a senior executive at Nigeria’s ministry of finance. There is also Davinder Sikand who left Abraaj Africa after 14 years of service.
