Africa Prudential’s share is still on the rise on Lagos stock exchange (Nigeria) since its record 10% rise on February 27, 2019. This morning, it recorded a modest 0.62% rise but it was still around NGN4.87.
Africa Prudential, the share registration services provider, shook the market on February 26, 2019, by announcing that it wanted to distribute NGN1 billion ($2.7 million) to its shareholders. This announcement shook a market whose players are always on the look for the slightest sign of profitability.
The firm ended 2018 with a good turnover on its safekeeping activities which generated NGN1.4 billion. Its investment activities also recorded a strong performance with NGN3 billion generated. Africa Prudential ended the year with NGN2 billion of net profit.
