Ecofin Agency has entered into a strategic partnership with La Tribune Afrique under which it will handle both daily editorial production and advertising sales, including display and branded content.
Drawing on a newsroom of 53 journalists across six African bureaus — Abidjan, Yaoundé, Cotonou, Lomé, Tunis and Kinshasa — Ecofin will publish around 15 exclusive articles a day covering economic ties between Africa and Europe.
The partnership aims to expand La Tribune Afrique’s reach beyond its current pan-African and European audience of 600,000 monthly visitors, 30,000 newsletter subscribers and 900,000 social followers, with a target to double readership by 2026.
“La Tribune is one of France’s most established and respected news brands. We are honored by the trust CMA Média has placed in our young African newsroom. Covering the fast-evolving economic exchanges between Africa and Europe is an exciting challenge we embrace with enthusiasm,” said Benjamin Flaux, Managing Director of Ecofin Agency.
“This partnership with Ecofin marks a major step in our African strategy. Their strong field presence and sector expertise will help enrich La Tribune Afrique and strengthen its role as a leading platform,” said Jean-Christophe Tortora, Chairman of La Tribune.
