Bass Metals’ share price climbed on ASX stock exchange today April 4, after the company announced that its Graphmada graphite project in Madagascar has entered into production phase once again.
This event positions the company as one of the ASX-listed two graphite producers and one of the four global graphite producers listed on a Stock exchange.
The company indicated it has completed the recommissioning of the newly renovated mine, with the goal to achieve full commercial production and subsequently supply international customers with high-quality graphite concentrates.
As part of its expansion plan, the company headed by Tim McManus intends to produce 6,000 tons of graphite per year during the first stage and increase it to 20,000 tons a year in the second stage.
For the record, Bass Metals acquired the Graphmada project, following an agreement concluded in 2016 with StratMin.
