AIM and TSXV-listed Altus Strategies announced yesterday June 7, it has begun exploration at its Prikro gold project in Côte d'Ivoire. The project is located on the 369.5 km² Prikro license in an emerging gold province of the country.
Altus Strategies reported that multiple historical gold occurrences were identified near Prikro, and exploration activities will initially focus on a number of key structural targets.“Our first phase reconnaissance program will initially focus on areas of historically reported gold occurrences and the strike extension of structures which are the focus of small scale mining permits that are contiguous with Prikro,” said CEO Steve Poulton.
Let’s recall that the company is active on many projects across Africa. In addition to Côte d’Ivoire, it is present in Mali, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Liberia and Morocco.
