TSX and AIM-listed Avesoro Resources active in Burkina Faso and Liberia, reported today July 9, a 128,319 oz year to date output. This figure is in line with full year guidance of 220,000-240,000 oz.
“Already this year, we have substantially outperformed the Company's prior year total annual gold production of 76,179 ounces and we remain on track to meet our 2018 production guidance of 220,000 – 240,000 ounces of gold,” CEO Serhan Umurhan said.
The company said the feat was achieved thanks to a “good” second quarter during which it produced overall 60,231 oz of gold, including 29,808 oz from its New Liberty mine (Liberia) and 30,423 oz from Youga mine in Burkina Faso.
