Hummingbird Resources announced that it will produce next month its first gold at Yanfolila, in Mali.
The Aim-listed firm said it finalized the commissioning of the water supply system for the mine’s processing plant. This in addition to pre-commissioning of the installed ball mill and the commissioning of the raw water supply for the processing plant. Also, wet commissioning of the carbon-in-leach (CIL) circuit has started.

Beside Mali, Hummingbird Resources also holds assets in Liberia and Senegal, and plans to produce 132,000 ounces of gold, in the first year of Yanfolila’s operations.
