Mining firm Robex Resources said it has launched a new drilling programme of 16,525m at its Nampala gold project, in Mali.
The campaign which will end in December 2017 will enable the firm test mineralization zones’ extensions and confirm the presence of additional mineral resources which could be directly integrated into the development plan to increase the project’s lifeline.
Besides, the firm reported an increase of its gold sales at Nampala in Q3 2017. Indeed, it has sold over the period 286kg of the ore (9,197 oz) against 235kg and 280kg in the first and second quarters of the year respectively.
The Nampala project holds 17.4 Mt of proven reserves and its exploitation permit extends over 5.32km².
