Hummingbird Resources published today April 30 the operating balance sheet of its Yanfolila gold project (Mali) for the first three months of 2018, revealing that the mine produced a total of 18, 785 oz of gold at 2.96 g/t out of which 9, 912 oz were produced in March.
Meanwhile, the Company sold during the same period a total of 11,941 ounces at an average price of $1,332 / oz. “Progress has been strong and I am pleased that we are able to declare commercial production from April 1, with the plant having operated at over 95% of nameplate for the month of March and continuing to operate at 100% throughout April,” said the CEO Dan Betts.
Let’s recall that Yanfolila went into production in December 2017 and Hummingbird plans it to produce 130,000 ounces of gold during the first year of operation.
