  • Egypt as a digital innovation leader, aligning with the Digital Egypt Vision 2030.

Orange Egypt has launched an integrated digital platform that enables citizens to access government and legal services directly through the My Orange mobile application. The initiative, announced on November 12, introduces a broad suite of smart legal and governmental services—covering traffic, family, and criminal prosecution cases—designed to provide citizens with secure, fast, and convenient digital access nationwide. It follows the earlier success of the Public Prosecution’s financial inclusion phase.

Commenting on the launch, Hesham Mahran, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Orange Egypt, stated: “We are proud to partner with the Egyptian Public Prosecution in this pioneering initiative, a model of successful collaboration between government institutions and the private sector to serve citizens more effectively. At Orange Egypt, we are moving beyond financial inclusion to empower citizens directly through digital solutions that simplify access to vital public and legal services anytime, anywhere.”

Through this collaboration, Orange customers can now submit and track prosecution-related requests online, pay service fees instantly via the Orange Cash Wallet, and complete all related transactions remotely, without visiting government offices. Each request is fully traceable within the app, allowing customers to receive real-time status updates until final delivery, with strong data security and full coordination between Orange’s systems and the Public Prosecution’s digital infrastructure.

The company emphasized that this step is part of its wider digital strategy to expand citizen access to secure, reliable, and user-friendly public services, supporting Egypt’s long-term goal of building a fully integrated digital society and strengthening the efficiency of public administration.

This collaboration also reflects Orange Egypt’s broader transformation agenda. The telecom operator is actively diversifying beyond traditional services to become a comprehensive digital service provider, aligning its operations with the national Digital Egypt Vision 2030. By integrating government and legal services within its My Orange ecosystem, Orange strengthens user engagement, boosts adoption of its Orange Cash Wallet, and enhances its role in advancing financial inclusion and public-sector digitization.

In a competitive ICT landscape—where the sector grew 14.4% in FY 2023/2024, maintaining its position as the fastest-growing state sector for six consecutive years—Orange Egypt’s move provides a clear advantage. It reinforces the company’s image as an innovation leader and trusted partner to government institutions, while diversifying its digital revenue streams and expanding its customer base.
