The Gabonese government is preparing to launch a digital platform designed to support and monitor young entrepreneurs. The project took center stage during a working session held earlier this week between the Minister of Trade, SMEs-SMIs, and Youth Entrepreneurship, Gninga Chaning Zenaba, and representatives of major national companies.
According to the ministry, “the discussions helped define the outlines of this digital platform, which is intended to become a structuring tool for connecting young entrepreneurs with large companies.” The ministry added that “the platform will offer technical support opportunities, mentorship, skills transfer, as well as prospects for partnerships and integration into value chains.”
The initiative follows the launch of Kimba in November 2025, a platform designed to accelerate the digital modernization of businesses and strengthen local innovation. The project fits within the national Digital Gabon strategy, which aims to position digital technology as a driver of economic and social development.
Over the medium term, authorities expect the platform to foster the emergence of a new generation of entrepreneurs capable of playing a leading role in Gabon’s economic and social development. The government aims to stimulate growth, support job creation, and contribute to the diversification of Gabon’s economy.
