From now on, applicants must submit all requests through a dedicated online platform. Candidates must create an account, upload their documents, and track their application status remotely. At the same time, educational institutions must send transcripts directly from their official email addresses to ensure the authenticity of submitted information.
“This development reflects the ministry’s commitment to the federal government’s digital transformation agenda and its determination to deploy modern technologies to improve efficiency, ensure data integrity, and support evidence-based policymaking in the education sector,” the ministry said in a statement.
The reform addresses the shortcomings of the previous system, which stakeholders often criticized for its slow processing times and complexity. Therefore, authorities aim to leverage technology to modernize public administration and improve service delivery.
By centralizing procedures on a digital platform, the government seeks to reduce processing times, enhance data management, and strengthen transparency across the authentication process.
