Tunisia launched the 13th edition of the Riyeda entrepreneurship fair on January 28. Organized by TPM Events, a company specializing in entrepreneurial ecosystem platforms, the two-day event is being held at the City of Culture in Tunis. Organizers expect more than 10,000 participants, including project holders, entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs, investors, and representatives of public and private institutions.
Held under the theme “Empowerment and entrepreneurship for social and economic inclusion,” the 2026 edition highlights the role of private initiative in addressing employment challenges, social inclusion, and regional development. The focus comes as the public sector struggles to absorb the growing number of Tunisian graduates entering the labor market.
According to the organizers, the fair brings together more than 100 speakers, including representatives from public institutions such as the ministries of Employment and Women, as well as SMEs, startups, and entrepreneurship support programs. Participants will have access to 54 panels, workshops, and thematic sessions designed to address the needs of project holders and generate concrete opportunities while supporting national economic momentum.
Riyeda 2026 takes place as Tunisia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem continues to take shape around public and private incentive schemes. Available data show that Tunisia made progress in several innovation and entrepreneurship indicators in 2025. The country ranked among the world’s top 80 in the Global Innovation Index, supported by reforms such as the Startup Act and increased investment funds dedicated to early-stage companies.
