(Ecofin Agency) - The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) in the Western zone, today reaffirmed its commitment in working with the federal government in ending the ongoing fuel scarcity affecting the country.

According to IPMAN, the association is prepared to load fuel from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)’s fuel depots and distribute to various filling stations to be sold to the citizens without any stress.

While speaking at a news conference on Tuesday at Ilorin, the Western zonal chairman of IPMAN, Alhaji Debo Ahmed stated that, members of the association have vowed never to take part in the hoarding of fuel for the people because they are committed to the wellbeing of the masses. “The current fuel scarcity is a real nagging problem but the fuel is available according to NNPC and marketers are ready to lift this product to all the filling stations to sell to the people”, Debo Ahmed told This Day.
