FLASH's financial products and services are now available in SCPT agencies.
Since the advent of law n°08/007 of July 08, 2008, transforming the OCPT into a commercial company "SCPT", the door has been wide open for this public company to forge partnerships with other private companies for the fulfillment of its mission.
One of the recent strategic partnerships concluded by the Congolese Post and Telecommunications Company is the one signed with Flash. That will allow the SCPT, apart from its purely postal activities, to offer universal money transfer services and 35 other value-added services through Flash aggregation platforms.
From now on, at La Poste it will be possible to open postal accounts and access a multitude of services, including international financial messaging with Western Union and MoneyGram, national and cross-border messaging with Flash Cash, mobile money deposits and withdrawals, transfers to all bank accounts, payments of taxes and duties, top-ups of all telephone operators as well as TV subscriptions renewal and many other payment services.
Through this new platform, la Poste integrates in partnership with Flash, all daily needs of the Congolese population and fully fulfills its role of privileged point of contact and proximity for all Congolese.
This collaboration with Flash is proof that beyond its postal service prerogatives, the SCPT is turning to a new dynamic of integrating new financial products and value-added services into its large network of 360 postal agencies.
