Next October 24-26, Egypt will stage a joint military exercise "Defenders of Friendship 3" with Russia. These exercises are organized in the framework of the cooperation between the two countries’ armed forces. During the exercises, the paratroopers of the two countries will exchange their training experience on some battle activities.
According to a statement from Egypt armed forces, "the training comes in light of the military partnership and cooperation and the coordination of efforts between the Armed Forces of the two brotherly countries to reach the highest levels of efficiency and combat readiness".
Egypt and Russia’s paratroopers will thus exchange on special forces training, counter-terrorism "freeing hostages and storming facilities based on the latest modern training systems".
Let’s remind that last year, Egyptian troopers took part in the Defenders of Friendship 2017, organized in Russia by the federation on September 9-22, 2017.
