In Algeria, after a successful experimentation of digitalization at the Boufarik’s office of State domains and land conservation, 35 km from the capital (Algiers), the technology will be extended to the rest of the country. The news was announced last Monday by the deputy minister in charge of digital economy and modernization of financial systems, Mouatassem Boudiaf.
“This experimentation will be soon extended to the whole nation,” the official told Agence Presse Service on the sideline of a visit to the State domains and land conservation headquarters in Boufarik.
“The deputy minister said equipment would be acquired to facilitate the provision of land-related documents and data. In regards to the experimentation, which is the first of its kind in Algeria, the official put the emphasis on a software developed by locals for the preservation of land documents and data on land, and highlighted how these would help shorten time needed to access such documents or data,” the press agency said.
