Leader of Zimbabwean telecom market Econet Wireless signed a service agreement with Subex, one of the telecommunications analytics solution providers in the world.
With the adoption of Subex’s Analytics Center of Trust (ACT) offer, Econet Wireless Zimbabwe wants to become an independent institution improving its operational efficiency thanks to data.
Relying on the predictive analysis of ACT, Econet Wireless will be able to analyse its commercial and technical data quicker and take the appropriate measures within a short period. It will, therefore, anticipate the performances of its products, identify new products and explore the sectors where it can boost consumption. It can also improve its network coverage by identifying the potential sites for 4G upgradings, detect critical and competitive zones based on its customer segmentation. That way, it can always be ahead of the client’s needs and full satisfaction.
According to Douglas Mboweni (photo), CEO of Econet Wireless Zimbabwe, the operator’s goal “is to continue being Zimbabwe’s preferred telecommunications provider, which will be achieved only by evolving into a stronger and future-ready organization. The analytical support from Subex will give impetus to Econet’s strategic expansion. This partnership will further improve the telecom sector in Zimbabwe and reinforce our ability to tap into the power of our services and make demonstrable difference in many areas of our customers’ lives. ”
