Alexandre Froment-Curtil (photo), the new CEO of Vodafone Egypt and Yasser ElKady, Egyptian minister of ICT, has discussed the company’s business and investments plans for the coming years. This was during an audience granted by Yasser Elkady to Vodafone Egypt’s CEO on January 5, 2018, a few days after the latter took office.

During the meeting, at which Ayman Essam, Director of legal affairs and external relations at Vodafone was present, Alexandre Froment-Curtil has promised to provide a sustained investment for better access to telecom services and the expansion of the local market. He also acknowledged the government’s actions to improve the economic conditions in order to attract investors in the country. He praised these actions as assets which now allow telecommunication operators to fully exploit their potential.

Yasser ElKady used this opportunity to present the ministry’s strategy to make ICT and telecom sector a mainstay of the country’s growth. He also outlined his expectations in terms of network coverage and quality and the services’ quality especially after the activation of the 4th generation technology.
