The Chadian government announced a new strategy to accelerate digital migration in the country over the period from 2020 to 2030. With this new step, the government wants to better integrate the use of digital technologies in all the key socioeconomic activities.
The plan will be discussed during the national validation workshop to be held from 15 to 16 July 2020 in N'Djamena. The meeting will bring together all the players in the postal and digital economy ecosystem. Participants will discuss the role and importance of ICTs for the development of the national economy.
The reflection on a new strategic plan for the development of digital and postal services demonstrates the government's determination to make up for the country's technological backwardness. In this wake, the government launched last week a project to modernize infrastructure and electronic communications in the country.
