Egypt: Vodafone launches service to help companies address technological challenges

Tuesday, 16 February 2016 17:58

Mobile operator Vodafone has launched its Ready Business Meter service to help companies better address technological challenges inherent to the Egyptian market, dailynewsegypt.com reports. This is a metric that will measure the technological preparedness of companies. If weak, the telecom company tries to raise it so as to boost profitability both operational and financial.

According to Vodafone’s Enterprise Business Unit Director, Mohamed Abd Allah, the Ready Business Meter, launched in Egypt, is part of the Ready Business programme through which Vodafone provides solutions to firms, in more than 15 countries, that lack technological readiness. First a series of questions is sent to the firm that wishes to improve its relationship with ICT to assess the status of the company and the readiness from the technological point of view. Then a specialized team from Vodafone will visit the company to study its service and specialization. Finally, Vodafone will submit proposals of the services which could contribute to the development of the work and boost efficiency and reinforce capacity.

Mohamed Abd Allah adds that Vodafone has already provided companies all around the world solutions such as remote surveillance, car tracking service and Machine to Machine service.
