FOTEEC awarded MTN Congo, the Excellency Prize for Congolese businesses in the Telecom industry. The awarding ceremony recently took place at the Brazzaville Radisson Blu, on the bank of the Congo River.
Organized by General Directorate of Economie and Idée Association, the first edition of the Forum and Excellency Awards for Congolese Businesses (FOTEEC in French) was held in Brazzaville from the 17th to the 18th of November 2015 under the patronage of the Minister for Plan and Integration, Léon Raphael MOKOKO.
“The initiative was implemented to encourage Congo-based companies to thrive towards Excellency, in an economic environment strongly marked by instability and competitiveness; to identify and reward the most performing businesses; promote business creation and diversification of national economy and also reward the best entrepreneurs (managers).”
Thanking the organizers for their initiative, Djibril OUATTARA, MTN Congo’s CEO, said: “This is call for us to redouble efforts so that we can keep meeting the demand of our customers”.
