Wednesday, 27 December 2017 14:52

It was during an evening of glamour and fascination that the 5th Edition of the prestigious Business Awards organized by the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industries was held at Eden Bleu Hotel and Resort.

The ceremony which brought together high dignitaries, business persons, friends and well-wishers is aimed at honoring those individuals and business organizations whose performance have been exemplary during the course of the year.

All award recipients were presented with a trophy in recognition for their achievements.  The nominees in each of the 18 categories were called out before the winners were revealed.

Airtel was propelled to the spotlight by winning the Most Corporate Social Responsibility company award for its exceptional contribution towards the promotion of society values.

It is a fitting tribute to the company's commitment in making a difference in the lives of the communities which it serves.  It is also a worthwhile recognition of the dedication and effort of its employees. The Managing Director of Airtel Mr. Amadou Dina proudly walked onto the stage to collect the company's well deserved prize.

Speaking on this recognition, CEO of Airtel Seychelles, Amadou Dina, said “this is a prestigious award which means a lot to the Airtel Seychelles Community. To be selected as the best CSR on the island is a remarkable achievement as the result of the magnificent work done through the CSR. We are very proud and it will inspire us to continue enriching lives and empowering our societies”
