Orange Côte d'Ivoire on Friday launched “Mobile Pro”, a mobile service targeting entrepreneurs, as it seeks to improve connectivity and productivity among small and medium-sized businesses.
The service is tailored to small business needs, offering plans that bundle calls, SMS and internet access, available on a weekly or monthly basis. Depending on the plan, users also get unlimited access to selected messaging and social media apps commonly used for business.
Mobile Pro also enables companies to manage multiple lines under a single account, helping employees coordinate more efficiently while reducing communication costs.
“Mobile Pro allows you to operate as a business user, manage your budget with prepaid plans, and work more effectively with colleagues,” said Franck Gragbo, Mobile B2B Product Manager.
The launch comes as Ivorian authorities seek to strengthen the small business sector, which accounted for about 23% of GDP and formal jobs in 2021. According to Florencia Koffi, Senior Manager for B2B Marketing, the service is part of a broader range of business solutions and marks another step in supporting companies’ digital transition.
