French charter airline Air Méditerranée will launch this winter new routes to Dakar (from Marseille) as well as Boa Vista and Sal in Cape Verde (from Nantes and Paris-Charles de Gaulle), reported specialised website Air Journal, on 26 August.
The Marseille-Dakar journey will be carried out as a regular service, since the company has traffic rights for Dakar, and also as tourist flights as a subcontractor for its tour operator or travel agency clients. From 18 December 2015 to 6 May 2016, regular services displayed on its website and carried out with Boeing 737-500 aircrafts with a capacity of 131 passengers, will depart once weekly (on Friday) at 12h15 to arrive at 16h50 (flight time of 5h35), return flights leaving Dakar at 17h40 and arriving at 0h15 the following day in Marseille.
The Cape Verde cities of Boa Vista and Sal will be serviced from 18 December 2015 to 27 May 2016 on behalf of its main tour operator clients every Friday, departing from Paris-CDG and Nantes-Atlantique.
