The Angolan arm of KPMG, the international network of audit and consulting firms, has been selected by the inter-ministerial working group for the award of the 4th telecoms license to evaluate all stages of the process as well as the proposed bids.
In addition to providing expert advice on the evaluation and review of all supporting documents for the tender, as well as on the evaluation of applications, bids and the preparation of the licensing process, KPMG Angola will also help publicize the tender on the international market. The aim is to attract the interest of the world's leading telecoms operators.
“The tender procedure will be carried out in the platform of the National Electronic Public Contracting System, to best ensure the tender’s transparency, efficiency and effectiveness,” the finance ministry indicates.
