Kinshasa International Forum: “A Business Hub For Contacts And Ideas”

The first «KINSHASA INTERNATIONAL FORUM - KINFOR16», a Business networking event will take place in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with hundreds of Belgian, European and Congolese entrepreneurs as well as high-level officials to address economical, commercial and partnership issues.

Africa Rise, BIK and the country’s Conseil Economique & Social (CES) are co-organizers.

Awex, Kinshasa Province, the Congolese Chamber of Commerce, the Belgian Congolese Luxemburgish Chamber of Commerce are main sponsors.

The Pullman Kinshasa Grand Hotel will host the forum from January 26 to 27. Expected are at least 800 entrepreneurs and high-level officials from more than a dozen countries.

The Brabant Wallon Province, the forum's guest-star, will showcase its economical attributes.

The main theme: The Democratic Republic of Congo's emergence through entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility (CSR)

Workshops (Corporate Social Responsibility, Energy, Transport, woman entrepreneurship,) and Networking sessions will be at the core of this 2 day event.

The KINFOR16 is tailor-made to provide opportunities for its participants to foster business ties in DRC.

Patrice EZATY MERIKO-EDZIA, President of the DRC Conseil Economique et Social, will make an official announcement on the schedule and goals of KINFOR16 at an upcoming press conference which will take place in Brussels by September, 22 at Brussels Press Club Europe.
