• Andrada lifts Q2 tin output in Namibia by 17% year-on-year
• Uis mine delivers 453 tons of concentrate, a quarterly record
• New processing plant expected to boost recoveries and production

Andrada Mining announced on September 15 a 17% year-on-year increase in tin production for the second quarter of its 2026 fiscal year. Its Uis mine in Namibia delivered 453 tons of concentrate, a record for the three months ending August 31, 2025.

“This quarter reflects another period of robust operational performance. Increased tin concentrate production was supported by higher recoveries and improved plant utilization,” said CEO Anthony Viljoen.

For the first six months of the fiscal year, Andrada produced 858 tons, up 14% from the previous year. The company has not provided full-year guidance but noted that the commissioning of a new processing plant at the end of August should improve recovery rates and lift production.

Uis is Namibia’s main tin mine and Andrada’s flagship asset. On the international market, the company recorded an average selling price of $33,308 per ton for the quarter, a 4% increase year-on-year.
